Airtel made changes in postpaid plans, now more data benefits will be available


Airtel on Thursday made changes in both its retail and corporate postpaid plan portfolio. In these changes, better data benefits have been provided in the Airtel postpaid plan of Rs. With the changes in postpaid plans for retail and corporate subscribers, the telecom company has discontinued its Rs 749 family postpaid plan.

Airtel has changed the family postpaid plan of Rs 999 for retail customers, in which now three connections will get access to 210 GB data. It will have one primary and two add-on connections. While the primary connection will be provided with 150 GB data as before, the two add-on connections will get 30 GB – 30 GB data. Earlier, 10 GB data was provided to add-on connections. Though, the earlier plan used to have three add-on connections, but now it has come down to two connections.

Apart from the changes in the Rs 999 postpaid plan, Airtel has discontinued the Rs 749 family postpaid plan, which provides 125 GB data for the primary connection and 10 GB data for the add-on connection.

Airtel has also made changes to its Rs 1,599 postpaid plan, which offers unlimited data benefits and international roaming packs. This pack is available for two connections. Internet speed drops to 128Kbps after 500GB data.

Along with the changes in the plan, Airtel has also updated the add-on connection costing Rs 249 to Rs 299. However, it has been increased from 10 GB to 30 GB data with unlimited calling and Airtel Thanks benefits.

Airtel’s postpage plans of Rs 399 and Rs 499 will remain the same. 40 GB data is available in Airtel postpaid plan of Rs 399, while 75 GB data is available in Rs 499 plan. The operator offers unlimited calling in all its postpaid plans.

For corporate customers, Airtel has come up with a plan of Rs 299, in which 30 GB data is available. At the same time, 60 GB data is provided in the Rs 349 plan and 100 GB data is provided in the Rs 499 plan. The operator also brings a postpaid plan priced at Rs 1,599, which offers 500 GB data.
