An army soldier who was admitted to an Army base hospital in Delhi, which is devoted to coronavirus patients, committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in the hospital premises.

New Delhi: An army soldier who was admitted to an Army base hospital in Delhi, which is devoted to coronavirus patients, committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in the hospital premises.

He was 31 years old and was also fighting lung cancer and hailed from Maharashtra’s Sangli. He was posted as a signalman at Rajasthan’s Alwar.

He was admitted to Delhi-based Army Base hospital after he was tested positive of COVID-19.

His body was sent for post mortem by the police and informed his family.
