Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa have been granted bail from the court. Both were arrested on Sunday.

Comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsha Limbachiyaa have been granted bail from the Fort Court in a drug case. He was produced in Mumbai’s Fort Court on Sunday after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) was arrested, where the two were remanded to judicial custody till December 4 after the court heard the drugs case.

The NCB had arrested Bharti Singh and her husband Harsha Limbachiyaa for allegedly taking ganja and keeping ganja at home. In addition, some more drugs were also reported to have been received from Bharti’s house. According to the information, Bharti Singh was shifted to Kalyan jail while Harsh Limbachia was taken to Taloja jail.

What is the whole case?

In fact, on Saturday, the NCB had conducted raids at bharti singh houses in Andheri, Lokhandwala and Versova after receiving intelligence inputs from drug paedophiles. The agency had recovered 86.5 grams of hemp. After which the agency had detained both Bharti and Harsha at around 3 pm. About 3 hours later, the NCB had confirmed the arrest of Bharti Singh. Harsh’s arrest was confirmed by the NCB early Sunday morning. According to the agency, both of them have been arrested under section 27 of the NDPS Act.

NCB screws up on Bollywood

The NCB has been continuously conducting raids since the drugs angle emerged in the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The NCB has questioned several Bollywood stars so far. Arjun Rampal was also questioned by his girlfriend Grabiella Demetrieds before the NCB was recently presented to the NCB. Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rakulpreet Singh and Shraddha Kapoor have been named in the drugs case so far and the NCB has recorded all the statements.
