TDP leader Bhuma Akhil Priya has been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days in connection with the Boinapalli brothers’ kidnapping case. She was shifted to Chanchalguda Jail.
Former minister and TDP leader Bhuma Akhila priya has been remanded in custody for 14 days in the Boinapalli kidnapping case.
Bhuma Akhil Priya was arrested by the police and produced before a judge at the Secunderabad Judge’s Quarters on Wednesday evening. The magistrate remanded her until January 20.
According to the judge’s orders, the police shifted Bhuma Akhil Priya to Chanchalguda jail. Bhuma Akhil Priya’s bail petition will be heard in court tomorrow.
Bhuma Akhil Priya’s husband Bhargav Ram was absconding while his brother Chandrabose was arrested by the police in connection with the kidnapping case of Boinapalli brothers. Hyderabad CP Anjani Kumar said that the names of AV Subbareddy as A-1, Bhuma Akhila priya as A-2 and Bhargavaram as A-3 have been included in the FIR in the kidnapping case.
AV Subba reddy, also known as A-1, was arrested by the Hyderabad Task Force police on Wednesday evening. On this occasion, he said that he had nothing to do with the kidnapping. He said he was not an A-1 accused.
Police said the names were the same as those in the FIR. The facts are yet to come out at trial. Subbareddy said Praveen Rao was their family friend as he did not like Akhilapriya’s business style.
