The situation over seat sharing in the NDA is not clear yet amid preparations for bihar assembly elections in Bihar. Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and BJP held talks over seat sharing. The conversation took place after lojopa president Chirag Paswan wrote a letter. Sources said this on Tuesday. According to sources, chirag paswan-led LJP wants 42 seats or 32 seats, two MLC and up have demanded one Rajya Sabha seat.
According to sources, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has currently offered 27 assembly seats and two MLC seats. LJP will be given seats from BJP quota. According to the information, the LJP will decide on the BJP’s proposal in a day or two.
Preparing to field candidates in 143 seats
According to sources, Chirag Paswan’s party LJP is gearing up to field candidates for 143 assembly seats. It is said that if it is not there, the LJP can separate from the NDA and land in the fray. Chirag Paswan has written separate letters to Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President J P Nadda. Paswan raised the issue of non-discussion on seat sharing.

Recently, the Election Commission has released the schedule for bihar assembly elections. Under this, elections will be held in three phases in the state. The first phase will be held on October 28, the second phase of November 3 and the third phase on November 7. The results of the elections will be announced on November 10, 2020.
