Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has provided an extra validity of 2 months for all its prepaid customers. Not only this… the company is also providing 100 minutes of free calling to the customers. Let us tell you, these days one after the other telecom companies are extending their helping hand in their own way to provide relief to the affected people during the corona virus epidemic. While the rest of the Jio, Airtel and Vi telcos have introduced relief plans for their low-income customers, BSNL is the only company that has brought this special offer for all its prepaid customers. However, this benefit will be available only to those BSNL customers whose prepaid plan validity has expired on or after April 1. The company says that these free benefits will prove beneficial for users who are facing difficulties since the second wave of the corona virus epidemic and the storm of Tauktae.

BSNL confirmed that the validity of the plan for the affected prepaid subscribers is being extended till May 31. This extension is free-of-cost, so that subscribers can continue to receive incoming calls even during these tough times. As we mentioned, the extension in validity and 100 minutes of free calling benefits will be given to those prepaid customers whose validity of the plan expired on or after April 1.

BSNL’s Managing Director Pravin Kumar Purwar has also urged customers not to rely on retail stores to recharge their mobile numbers and instead resort to online option only.

BSNL last month announced the extension of Special Tariff Voucher (STV) worth Rs 398 for its customers. Although, this promotional offer was to end on April 9, but now it has been made available till July 8. This plan includes unlimited high-speed data, unlimited voice calls and 100 free SMS daily with a validity of 30 days.
