In Bihar, 221 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the last 24 hours and nine people have died. After 1,800 new cases were reported, the total number of infections in the state went up to 33,511. Two persons were killed in Muzaffarpur and Rohtas, one each in Patna, Nalanda, West Champaran and Supaul. The person died before the infection at Supaul. People have died due to infection in all the 38 districts of the state. Patna has become the first district in the state where infection cases have crossed 5,000. There are 2,023 cases in other highly affected districts of Bhagalpur, 1,514 cases in Muzaffarpur, 1,336 in Gaya, 1,257 in Rohtas, 1,221 at Begusarai, 1,204 in Siwan and 1,200 in Nalanda.
