India first Corona’s vaccine COVAXIN may launch on August 15

Coronavirus vaccine covaxin may launch on August 15. The vaccine has been developed by pharmaceutical company Bharat Biotech.

There is good news amid the growing infection of the corona. On August 15, corona vaccine covaxin (COVAXIN) may be launched. The vaccine has been developed by pharmaceutical company Bharat Biotech. Vaccine launching is possible from Bharat Biotech and ICMR.

COVAXIN has recently been allowed a human trial. According to a letter issued by ICMR, the enrolment for human trials will start from July 7. Then, if all the trials were corrected, it is expected that COVAXIN can be launched by August 15. First, India can come into the biotech vaccine market.

The letter has been issued by ICMR and all stakeholders (including AIIMS doctors). He says that if the trial is successful at every stage, the corona vaccine could be in the COVAXIN market by August 15. This is currently estimated by the ICMR.

It may be recalled that in the past, Hyderabad pharma company Bharat Biotech had claimed that it had also received the green signal from DCGI for the human trial of phase-I and phase-II of COVAXIN . The company has also said that the trial will be launched in the first week of July. India has a longstanding experience in biotech vaccine making.

Corona’s first homegrown vaccine ready, human trial to begin in July

The Bharat Biotech Company has also created vaccines for polio, rabies, rotavirus, Japanese encephalitis, chikungunya and zika virus. The enrolment for human trials may start from July 7. Thereafter, a phase-wise trial will be conducted. If the next trial is successful, the vaccine will be launched on August 15.
