Coronavirus in India: Corona is creating new records of virus infection every day. For the first time, more than 90,000 Covid-19 cases have been reported in a single day. According to the latest data released by the Health Ministry, a record 90,632 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours (Saturday from 8 am to 8 am on Sunday). After which the total number of infections has crossed the alarming figure of 41 lakh to 41,13,811. 1065 patients have died and the total death toll has gone up to 70,626.
According to the health ministry, 73,642 patients have recovered from this dreaded virus infection in the last 24 hours. This is the highest number of recoverers in a day. So far, the number of patients recovering has crossed 31 lakh. There are currently 8,62,320 active cases in the country. That is, they are either undergoing treatment in the hospital or are in home isolation.
According to the latest data, the country’s recovery rate has risen to 77.32 per cent. The number of patients recovering in the last two days has also seen an increase. 20.96 per cent of patients are active and the death rate is below 2 per cent (1.71 per cent). The positive rate has gone up to 8.29 per cent.
