DJI launches its cheapest DJI Mini SE drone, priced less than Rs 2500!

DJI, a leading company that manufactures drones in China, has launched its cheapest drone ever. The name of this drone is DJI Mini SE which is the cheapest offering from DGI till date. According to the report of Gizmo China, this drone was earlier launched by the company in select foreign markets. But now the company has also launched it in its home country of China.

DJI Mini SE Price And Availabililty

The DJI Mini SE is priced at 1,999 Yuan or around $309 or approx Rs 2300. This price is for a back model. This makes it very affordable for new users. It is specially designed for entry level users. Along with this, it is also available with a variety of accessories, backpacks and extended use.

DJI Mini SE Features, Specifications

Even though its name is taken from the DJI Mini 2 that was launched earlier, it cannot be called its cheap version with a low price. But it can be said to be a low cost edition of the first generation DJI Mavic Mini which was launched in the year 2019. Talking about the specifications, it comes with a 2.7K resolution camera (as opposed to 4K) and support for 2.5 miles wireless range. The camera can shoot 2.7K video at 30 frames per second, that too when shooting in 1080p with 4x digital zoom. It also captures 12-megapixel photos in jpeg format and has a 3-axis gimbal setup.

The DJI Mini SE doesn’t have support for Ocusync, the company’s own transmission technology that enables the product to use the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz bands. It gives greater flexibility when there is a lot of interference in the transmission. Instead the DJI Mini SE relies on a Wi-Fi connection.
The device also has an omnidirectional safety cover which can improve flight safety. GPS and downward-facing sensors give the drone the ability to hover continuously. Talking about the weight, the weight of the DJI Mini SE is 249 grams, which is quite light. It has been claimed by the company to give 30 minutes of battery life on a single charge.
