Education Minister says revised syllabus will be based on board exam, JEE-NEET to be completed syllabus

The Education Minister said that engineering entrance examination – JEE MAIN 2021, and medical entrance examination – NEET 2021 will however be conducted on the basis of the entire syllabus.

Interacting with Kendriya Vidyalaya teachers and students, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, Nishank on Monday announced in the live webinar that students will be asked questions in the upcoming board exams 2021 on the basis of revised syllabus.

Also, the Education Minister further stated that engineering entrance examination – JEE MAIN 2021, and medical entrance exam – NEET 2021 will be conducted on the basis of complete syllabus.

The Board of Education including the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and several state boards have reduced the class 10th and class XII syllabus as a time-consuming measure as students were facing difficulties due to the coronavirus epidemic.

Ramesh Pokhriyal said during the webinar, Students will have to study the entire syllabus only for CBSE board exams and other exams like CBSE Board Syllabus 2021 NEET 2021(National Eligibility Entrance Test)  and JEE 2021 (Joint Entrance Examination).

At the live interactions with Kendriya Vidyalaya students and teachers, Ramesh Pokhriyal further said that the school will soon resume for offline classes for students. The Education minister of India also said, with offline classes, online classes will still continue.

Prior to this webinar, Nishank made it live to announce CBSE exam dates and JEE MAIN dates. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams are scheduled between May 4 and June 10, while the 2021 practical exams will start from March 1 and will continue till the start of theory paper. The results  for CBSE will be declared by July 15.
