CoWin is a digitized platform and a uniquely end-to-end citizen-centric tool that will be the backbone of technology behind India’s historic and vast vaccination drive.
corona vaccine registration process: The vaccine to combat corona virus has now reached every district across the country.
From January 16, 30 million front line warriors will start vaccinating in a phased manner. However, corona vaccine will not take on the spot.
For this, you must first register on the portrait. The government has launched the CoWin portal to register. Aadhaar card is required for registration.
Only then will the registration be done with all the data feeds. This will also indicate whether you have received the first dose or the second. SMS alerts will still arrive after completing the schedule of two doses.
This is the complete registration process
There is a form on the portal for registration asking for information such as name, address, age, medical share.
After feeding all the data, you’ll need to select a photo identity card that will be used for verification.
When you visit the vaccination center, the same ID will be matched before giving the dose. When you submit the form, SMS will be accessed on your registered mobile number. Then you have to wait for the vaccination schedule to receive sms.
This way the vaccine will schedule
The government will schedule vaccination based on the availability of vaccines and your position in the priority list.
Sms will be sent to your mobile to tell where and when the vaccine will take place. At the stipulated time, you need to wait for your turn to reach the vaccine centre.
Don’t forget to carry the same photo ID proof that was given at the time of registration as no ID verification will be vaccinated.
According to the government, photo IDs have been mandated to ensure that the vaccine is applied to the right person.
Which ID proof are valid?
According to a document released by the Ministry of Health on Friday, one of these IDs can be given at the time of registration:Driving license,Voter ID,Health Insurance Smart Card,MGNREGA Card,Identity Cards of MPs/MLAs/Legislative Council Members,PAN Card,Bank/Post Office Passbook,Passport,Pension Documents,Service I Card of Government Employees.
