
Gate 2021-IIT Bombay has discontinued the application form improvement for gate 2021 examination. Candidates could make a correction in gate application form 2021 from gate.iitb.ac.in the official website till the last date.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or Gate 2021 examination will be held from 5th to 7th February and 12th to 14th February.
Two new subjects – Environmental Science and Engineering (ES) and Humanities and Social Sciences (XS) have also been added to the GATE exam 2021. A total of 27 subjects have now been made in the gate examination.
Also, the minimum eligibility to apply to Gate 2021 (GATE 2021) will be relaxed due to Covid-19 status. As per the announcement, candidates for the third year of undergraduate degree will be eligible for GATE 2021 (GATE 2021).
Important: Gate 2021 will be held on 5th, 6th, 7th, 12th, 13th, 14th February 2021.
GATE 2021 is an examination to be conducted for admission to M.E./M.Tech/PhD programs of IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTI institutes. Gate scores are also used for recruitment to public sector undertakings (PSUs) of the country.
The number of seats for Gate 2021 (GATE 2021) is expected to increase this time also due to EWS quota. However, candidates are advised to refer to the eligibility criteria prescribed for GATE (Aptitude Graduate Test in Engineering) before applying for the same.
Counselling of gate qualified candidates will be done separately for IITs and NIATI. will be done through COAP for IITs and through KMMT for NIFT. What’s new in Gate 2021
IIT Bombay, the organizer body of GATE Exam 2021, has announced some new changes this year, which can be seen below:
IIT Bombay has added 11 new GATE 2021 exam centres.
Gate 2021 will include Two New Subjects of Environmental Science and Engineering (ES) and Humanities and Social Sciences (XS), thus taking the total number of gates to 27.
GATE 2021 (GATE 2021) has relaxed the eligibility criteria due to kovid-19 status.
As per GATE 2021 eligibility criteria, candidates in their third year of undergraduate degree will be eligible for GATE 2021.
Candidates will be able to select two subject papers.
International centres for GATE 2021 are likely to be cancelled due to COVID-19.

PSU Recruitment through GATE 2021
Candidates who have secured a good score in GATE 2021 (GATE 2021) will be able to apply for recruitment to various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
This admission process will include interviews or tests, though some companies may also recruit directly based on gate scores.
The number of PSU participating in the recruitment process based on gate score has been increasing steadily and now the top companies are also joining it.
Admission to Masters and PhD Programs
Gate score is helpful in grooming the careers of candidates. Through GATE Score, candidates will be able to apply for admission to IITs, NITs, GFTI, IISc and many other institutions. Candidates can also avail some seats reserved in IIMs for admission in the doctoral programme.
Institutions like IIT Bombay also provide admission to PhD, PGDM and PGDDE programmes on the basis of gate score right after graduation.
Fellowship
Based on gate score, candidates are also eligible for scholarships to be awarded by MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development).
Gate qualified candidates are also awarded Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) by CSIR Laboratories.
The gate qualifying candidates are also provided financial assistance of Rs. 12400 per month as UGC scholarship. Candidates are also given stipend by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC).
Jobs
Many reputed institutions also provide an opportunity to the gate qualifying candidates to work in the posts of professors or assistant professors.
Candidates can also get scientific “C” grade job by qualifying the gate. Some private firms also use gate scores to shortlist candidates for interviews.

GATE 2021 Eligibility Criteria
GATE 2021 eligibility criteria indicate the requirements that candidates have to meet to participate in the exam process. Gate 2021 eligibility criteria have been issued by the authorities. Applications of ineligible candidates can be cancelled.
Age Limit – For GATE 2021 (GATE 2021), no age limit has been prescribed.
Nationality-the nationality of all candidates should be Indian. Candidates from countries other than India can apply for the gate only if they meet the eligibility criteria given.
Educational Requirement – Candidates have been able to use engineering/engineering in any relevant science subject.
Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or Post Graduate (M.Sc) degree should be completed or in the final year.
Pass Percentage – When applying for GATE 2021 ( GATE 2021), no minimum pass percentage is required in the qualification degree.

GATE Application Form 2021
The IIT Bombay Gate 2021 application form was released on September 11 in online mode on gate.iitb.ac.in which has been discontinued on October 14. To use gate 2021 registration form or application form, candidates have to register at GATE Online Application Processing Systems (GOAPS).
Only those candidates who will fill the registration form of GATE 2021 and appear in the entrance test. Only those candidates who will be able to fill the gate 2021 registration form and submit the entrance test.
Steps to Fill GATE 2021 Application Form
Step 1 – To be registered – All eligible candidates have to register through GOAPS. Candidates have to enter their name, email id and mobile number during registration.
Upon successful registration, an enrollment number will be generated. For future re-login purposes, candidates should choose and protect passwords
Step 2 – Fill the application form – After registration, candidates have to enter all necessary details in the registration form such as personal, educational and contact information.
Also, details pertaining to college and valid photo ID should be filled in gate 2021 application form. Candidates have to choose their choice from gate paper and exam centres.
Step 3 – Upload scanned images – Photograph, signature and category certificate (if applicable) as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities have to be scanned and uploaded.
Step 4 – Pay Application Fee – Pay the application fee according to the category that is in online mode, i.e., Net Banking/Banking. Debit Card / Debit Card Credit card.

GATE Mock Test 2021
IIT Bombay Gate 2021 Mock Test (GATE Mock Test 2021) will be released in online mode. Through mock test, candidates will be able to get acquainted with the exam pattern and it will help the aspirants in preparing for the upcoming exam.
Separate mock tests will be issued for various papers to be conducted by the officers. The duration of the mock test will be 3 hours and will have objective type questions.

GATE ADMIT CARD 2021
Gate 2021 Hall ticket will be issued by authorities on 8th January. All registered candidates will be able to download the gate admit card from the official website.
Candidates whose applications are rejected for some reason will not be able to get gate 2021 admission cards. Details related to entrance examination such as venue, time and much more will be available in gate admission letter 2021.
While reporting on the exam centre, candidates need to carry their admit card. Without admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam. With the admit card, a photo identification proof has to be taken.

Gate 2021 Answer Key
Gate 2021 will be released by the officers in the third week of February. The authority will first issue the provisional effect and then after evaluating the feedback, gate 2021 final effect will be released.
The correct answers to the questions asked in the examination will be present in the answer key, which the candidates can use to calculate their possible score.
During calculation, candidates will have to use the official marking scheme. With the effect of the, the candidates response sheet will also be provided. Objections against the provisional effect will likely be accepted by the authorities by the third week of February.
500 will be paid by the candidates for each objection. After examining all objections sent by the officers, the final answer of Gate 2021 will be released.

IIT Bombay will likely release gate 2021 response sheet (GATE 2021) in the second week of February. Candidates will be able to check their recorded response through the sheet released in online mode. To check the response sheet, candidates have to log in using their entitlement ID and password.
Gate 2021 College Predictor
After the result is declared, the candidates will be able to access the Gate 2021 College Predictor issued by Careers360.
Through the college predictor, candidates will be able to know which colleges they will be able to get enrolled on the basis of their safe score. Out of 1000, information like gate score, gate points, caste, paper, etc., out of 100 will have to be deposited to see the list of eligible colleges. GATE Result 2021
IIT Bombay will announce the Gate 2021 result on March 22. Candidates should have their gate enrolment ID/ID. Email Address / Address You will be able to see the results using the registration ID and password.
Through the result, candidates will be able to check the details of their score, qualifying marks for gate paper, all India rank etc. The marks will be calculated by the candidates using the RAW score obtained in their respective GATE 2021 (GATE 2021) paper.
In papers that have multiple sessions, a normalization process will be followed by the authorities.
Steps to View Gate 2021 Result

Click on the result link
GATE Enrolment ID / ID Email Address / Email Address Enter registration ID and password
Click Submit
The result will be displayed on the screen
GATE 2021 Score Card
Once the result is declared, the Gate 2021 scorecard will also be made available for download. The score card will probably be available by the third week of March.
Only those candidates who have been able to get the qualifying cutoff will be allotted rank and will be allowed to download the rank card.
The score card of Gate 2021 (GATE 2021) will have information like marks, raw scores, category-wise qualifying marks, rank, etc. out of 1000.
Note: Candidates should note that the score card will be valid for three years from the date of declaration of result.

GATE 2021 Counselling
Common Counselling for GATE 2021 (GATE 2021) will not be conducted by IIT Bombay. Since there is no centralized counselling process through the GATE, candidates have to apply individually for admission to M.Tech courses. The rank and marks obtained in GATE 2021 will be checked by various institutions during the admission process. Candidates who are interested in admission to IITs will be able to use a common portal which is GATE COAP. For NIT admission, candidates can register through CCMT.

GATE COPE 2021 (GATE COAP 2021)
GATE Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) is a common portal that is activated for admission to IITs.
Candidates who have qualified GATE 2021 (GATE 2021) will be able to apply for M.Tech admissions in IIT through COAP. The list of IIT admission offers will be submitted to the candidates from which they have to choose their choice.
IIts are to be selected by the candidates after registration. Candidates will have to apply separately in different IITs for some cases.

PSU Recruitment through GATE 2021
Gate Exam qualified candidates can also apply for recruitment to public undertakings (PSUs). There are many recruiters who organise the recruitment process for the candidates who get a good gate score.
Through PSU recruitment, candidates can get jobs in many popular companies like NTPC Limited, ONGC, SAIL etc.
