Gold Price Today, 17 February 2021: Gold has been getting cheaper for five consecutive days. Gold futures on MCX have become more than Rs 700 per 10 grams. Gold is trading at below Rs 47,000 on the MCX.

Gold, Silver Rate Update, 17 February 2021: If you want to buy gold and silver, this may be the best time. Gold prices have slipped below Rs 47,000 per 10 grams. The gold price on the MCX has come to a may 2020 level.

Bullion experts on gold estimate that it will cross Rs 60,000 in 2021. But gold on the MCX has now slipped below Rs 47,000 per 10 grams. As for silver, silver has also been cheaper than Rs 800 yesterday.

On Tuesday, MCX’s April futures were trading in a range of first half but with an edge, but after 6 p.m., it suddenly dominated the sales and fell from an intraday high of Rs 47480 to 46682.

However, it saw a mild recovery in the last hour. Gold was rs 46,600 per 10 grams in May 2020. Today, gold futures on the MCX are down 100 rupees, to 46800 rupees. Gold has become more than Rs 450 per 10 grams cheaper this week.

In August 2020, the 10 grams gold price on MCX reached the highest level of Rs 56,191. Last year, gold returned 43 cents. If compared to the highest level, gold has broken up to 15 cents,

Gold is trading at MCX at Rs 46,800 per 10 grams, i.e. about Rs 9300 cheaper.

The silver move also worsened on Tuesday evening. Silver’s March futures on the MCX were trading above Rs 70,000 by 6 p.m., but suddenly declined and slipped to 68350.

However, after a short recovery, it managed to close above 69300. Silver also touched a height of 70864 in intra-day. MCX’s silver futures open today with mild strength. Silver climbed 160 rupees, to 69535 rupees per kilo.

Silver affordable by Rs 10,600 from its highest level
On February 1, the budget day was the march futures of silver on the MCX, up above Rs 74400. But there was a persistent weakness and the price fell to Rs 66,800 per kilo on Thursday, February 4. The highest ever level of silver is Rs 79,980 per kilo. Accordingly, silver is also more than Rs 10,000 cheaper than its highest level.
