Indian representative responds to Pakistan’s remarks at 45th session of Human Rights Council in Geneva
Describing Pakistan as “the centre of terrorism” on Tuesday, India said Islamabad would not lecture anyone on human rights as it has consistently tortured ethnic and religious minorities, including Hindus, Sikhs and Christians.
Using his right to respond to Pakistan’s remarks at the 45th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, the Indian representative said Pakistan has become accustomed to denigrating India in order to fulfil its sickening intentions by making false and fabricated allegations.
Neither India nor anyone else needs to hear narratives on human rights from a country that has consistently tortured its ethnic and religious minorities, the Indian diplomat said.
It is the centre of terrorism, this country’s specialty of giving pensions to those included in the LIST of UN sanctions, and the Prime Minister of this country has proudly admitted to training thousands of terrorists to fight in Jammu and Kashmir.
