Jio discontinued plans of Rs 39 and Rs 69 before Jio Phone Next launch

Reliance Jio has discontinued two of its affordable prepaid recharge plans ahead of the Jio Phone Next phone launch. These plans were not available on the Jio website at the time of filing this news. The plans that have been discontinued are Rs 39 plan and Rs 69 plan. Both these prepaid recharge plans are neither listed on Jio’s website nor on the mobile app. It is likely that Jio has discontinued these plans now because they are planning to bring new plans for Jio phone users after the launch of Jio Phone Next. Let us tell you, Jio Phone Next will be launched on September 10.

The two prepaid recharge plans of Reliance Jio that have been discontinued are Rs 39 prepaid recharge plan and Rs 69 recharge plan. Both these recharge plans are not available for access on the company’s website and MyJio app. Let us tell you, in the Rs 39 plan, users get 100MB daily data, 100 SMS, unlimited voice calls to any network, that too for 14 days. On the other hand, the Rs 69 prepaid recharge pack offers 0.5GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS, with a validity of up to 14 days. The plan closure was first reported by Telecom Talk.

Apart from discontinuing the above two prepaid recharge plans, Reliance Jio has also discontinued the Buy 1 Get 1 free offer for its Jio Phone plans. Under this offer, users get the next recharge absolutely free on one recharge. The company introduced this offer during the corona virus epidemic. However, now this offer has been discontinued.

All these changes indicate that the telecom company may also introduce new prepaid recharge plans with the Jio Phone Next smartphone. Let us tell you, this phone was announced during the 44th Reliance Industries AGM held in June, which is being developed by Reliance Jio and Google. Jio Phone Next offers Google Play store access and will get features like voice assistant, automatic read-aloud to screen text and language translate. The price of Jio Phone Next can be Rs 3,499.
