Jio’s Jalwa in June in villages, a top position achieved, so many new customers connected to Jio network in just one month
Reliance Jio has gained a strong lead in rural India. According to Trai’s released data, the total number of Jio users in rural areas has exceeded 16 crores 63 lakh in the month of June. Jio has thus become the highest customer-adding telecom company in rural India in the month of June.
So many new customers connected to jio network
In June Reliance Jio added 24, 45,574 new customers to its network in rural areas. In the meantime, nearly 24 lakh users left Vodafone-Idea, while Bharti Airtel’s number declined by 20.68 lakh to 12,10,88,155. At the end of June, Vodafone-Idea in rural India had 16 crores 60 lakh and Airtel had about 15 crores 10 lakh customers.
Jio’s total number of users crosses 39 crore
The total number of users of Reliance Jio was more than 39 crore 72 lakh by the end of June. Reliance Jio added about 45 lakh, new customers, in June as compared to the month of May. Only Reliance Jio has managed to add new consumers in this period. Vodafone-Idea lost its highest number of 48.21 lakh subscribers in June. Bsnl, the state-made company, lost 17.44 lakh subscribers. Bharti Airtel was at the third position. In the meantime, more than 11 lakh 28 thousand users left the Airtel network in June. Bharti Airtel was second with 31.66 crores and Vodafone Idea was third with 30.51 crore subscribers after Reliance Jio in terms of total subscriber numbers.
