Lenovo’s 3 new laptops launched with Intel Core H-Series processors, know the price

Lenovo has announced the Lenovo Legion 7i, Legion 5i, and Legion 5i Pro gaming laptops. These laptops will be equipped with the latest 11th generation Intel Core H-series mobile processors. Lenovo’s announcement comes with Intel’s 11th Generation Core Tiger Lake-H processor in which it will bring three updated laptop models as well as a gaming monitor. All laptops will come with Windows 10, Thunderbolt 4 support and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. All these gaming laptops will be equipped with Nvidia GeForce RTX laptop GPUs including the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti and GeForce RTX 3050.

Lenovo Legion 7i, Legion 5i, Legion 5i Pro laptop, Lenovo Legion Y25g-30 monitor: Price, availability

Lenovo Legion 7i (Storm Grey) priced at $1,769.99 (approx Rs 1.30 lakh) and Lenovo Legion 5i Pro (Stingray White, Storm Grey) price starts at $1,329.99 (approximately Rs.97,700). These models will be available for purchase from June this year. Lenovo Legion 5i (Phantom Blue, Stingray White) price starts at $969.99 (approx Rs 71,300) and can be purchased from July 2021 onwards. The price of the Lenovo Legion Y25g-30 gaming monitor starts at $699.99 (approximately Rs 51,400) and will be available from October this year. Lenovo has not yet given any information about the international availability of these new laptops and gaming monitors.

Lenovo Legion 7i specifications

Lenovo Legion 7i runs Windows 10 Pro and sports a 16-inch WQXGA (2,560×1,600 pixels) IPS display with a refresh rate of 165Hz. It has a 3ms response time, 100 percent sRGB coverage, and an aspect ratio of 16:10. It also has 500 nits brightness, VESA display HDR 400 certification, Dolby Vision support and Nvidia G-Sync support. In terms of internal specifications, it is powered by an 11th generation Intel Core i9-11980HK processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU. It is paired with 16GB GDDR6 VRAM which has a maximum power of 165W. The Lenovo Legion 7i has up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz and up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage.

In terms of audio, it has a super linear speaker system with dual 2W speakers and Smart Amp with Nahimic audio. Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, three USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and an Ethernet jack. The Lenovo Legion 7i also comes with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.1. The company says that its battery can give up to 8 hours of backup. At the same time, the weight of this gaming laptop is 2.5 kg.

Lenovo Legion 5i, Legion 5i Pro: Specifications

Lenovo Legion 5i models with 15.6-inch and 17-inch displays have been launched. Whereas the Legion 5i Pro has a screen size of 16 inches. All three models come with Windows 10 Pro. With a 15-inch screen size, the Legion 5i sports a WQHD (2,560×1440 pixels) IPS display and has a refresh rate of 165Hz. At the same time, it has a response time of 3ms and 100% sRGB coverage. It has a peak brightness of 300 nits, support for Dolby Vision and Nvidia G-Sync support. Its 17-inch model has a Full HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) IPS display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It has 72 percent NTSC coverage.

The Legion 5i Pro, on the other hand, sports a 16-inch WQXGA (2,560×1,600 pixels) IPS display with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a brightness of 500 nits. It has VESA display HDR 400 certification, low blue light – TUV certification and 16:10 aspect ratio.

All three models can be fitted with an 11th generation Intel Core i7-11800H CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 laptop GPU. It has 8GB GDDR6 VRAM. The maximum power of the GPU depends model by model. The Lenovo Legion 5i and Legion 5i Pro have up to 32GB of RAM, and the 17-inch Legion 5i has up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz. In terms of storage, the 15.6-inch model packs up to 2TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD storage while the other two devices have 1TB of PCIe SSD Gen 4 storage.
All these are said to have a battery backup of up to 8 hours. Connectivity options are similar to the Lenovo Legion 7i laptop but the 17-inch Legion 5i also gets a card reader. Two speakers of 2W have been given for audio.

Lenovo Legion Y25g-30 gaming monitor specifications

The 24.5-inch Legion Y25g-30 gaming monitor sports a FullHD (1,920×1,080 pixels) display with 16:9 aspect ratio and 360Hz refresh rate. It has a peak brightness of 400 nits and a 1ms response time. It covers up to 99 percent of sRGB and has a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. It also supports Nvidia G-Sync and Nvidia Reflex. Connectivity options on the Legion Y25g-30 include a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B port, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and a DisplayPort 1.4 port. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack inside.
