During Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi said, “This month, the cricket pitch also received very good news. Our cricket team, after the initial difficulties, made a spectacular comeback and won the series in Australia. Hard Work and Teamwork of our players are going to inspire you.”

Virat Kohli‘s Reply

The tweet by PM Narendra Modi has excited team India captain Virat Kohli and has created a tricolor flag emoji while replying to it. Praising his team as a captain is enthralling Kohli.

Kohli was able to play only One Test Match

Virat Kohli was returned to India after the Adelaide Test due to the birth of his first child. Ajinkya Rahane then took over the captaincy and won team India 2-1 in the Test series. Most of the senior players were injured on the tour.
