It is reported that 20 monkeys were divided into 4 groups. One group was administered with placebo while three groups were given 3 different vaccines for 0-14 days. 14 days after the second dose, all maca were exposed to the viral challenge.
The results showed protective effects, including increasing SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing specific IGG and antibodies. The replication of the virus in the nose, larynx and lung tissue of monkeys was observed to be reduced.
