Earlier on the Australian tour of India, Michael Vaughan had said that India would face a 0-4 defeat in the four-match Test series against Australia.

Later Michael Vaughan‘s prediction proved to be flop. Vaughan had said that India would not be able to withstand the Trilogy of Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins.

However, team India later made history in Australia under Rahane‘s captaincy, beating the hosts 2-1.

The first two Tests of the four-match series between India and England will be played at Chennai. The Test series will begin from February 5.

India and England have been facing a total of 9 times at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In which Team India won 5 while England won 3 times, while one match was drawn. It would not be wrong to say that it is very difficult to defeat India at this ground.
