Ninebot launches two electric kick scooters, will run 40 km on a single charge


Ninebot, a well-known company for kick scooters and self balancing scooters, has introduced its two new kick scooters. The first of these kick scooters of the company’s new F-series are the model numbers F30 and F40. Both the scooters are currently listed for crowdfunding on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo. Packed with features, these kick scooters have been priced low and may do so to attract the younger generation. These electric kick scooters have a range of 40 kms and can reach a maximum speed of 30 kms per hour.

Xiaomi’s partner company Segway-Ninebot has launched the F30 and F40 electric kick scooters. Both the electric kick scooters are currently listed on Indiegogo for crowdfunding. The Ninebot Kick Scooter F30 is priced at $529 (approximately Rs 38,500) and the F40 will be sold for $629 (approximately Rs 45,600). Its shipping can start in July 2021. Initially, these electric kick scooters will be sold in the US, Canada and some Asian markets. There is no clarity about India at the moment.

Indiegogo’s listing It turns out that these scooters are powered by a 10,200mAh capacity battery, which helps the F30 to achieve a range of 27 kms. At the same time, the range of F40 is 40 km. In terms of performance, both are different. While the top speed of the F30 is 25 kilometers per hour, the F40 can accelerate to 30 kilometers per hour. They have so much power that both of them can easily climb 15% and 20% maximum slopes respectively.

The battery in F30 gets fully charged in 5 hours, but the same battery takes 6.5 hours for full charge in F40. Apart from this, they also have some handy features. The new kick scooters come with a Bluetooth security lock and are IPX5 water resistant. They get 2.5W built-in LED light. For comfortable riding, they get 10-inch size tires. It also has three riding modes namely Eco, Standard and Sport mode. One of their specialties is also the foldable design. They can be easily folded and you can easily keep them in tight places.
