PM Narendra Modi Polls Cyclone Amphan-hit Regions of West Bengal, Declares Rs 1,000 cr relief package for Nation
In a video message after reviewing the problem with Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at Basirhat at North 24 Parganas district, the Prime Minister also declared an ex-gratia of Rs two lakh to the families of every one of those murdered during the devastation brought on by cyclone Amphan, and Rs 50,000 to the wounded.
At least 77 people are reported killed up to now from the country as a result of exceptionally severe cyclone.
