Preparations begin for the festival of light of Guru Tej Bahadur, festival will be celebrated at national level
The 400th annual Prakashotsava of the ninth Sikh Guru Shri Tej Bahadur Ji will be celebrated by the Central Government in 2021. Preparations for this have been started by the Central Government.
A 70-member central committee has been formed from across the country, which will put in place the preparations for Prakashotsav.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chairman of the committee, while the rest have been nominated as members. In this committee, Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs Sardar Sandeep Singh have been nominated as members from Haryana.
In the committee, Haryana Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs Sardar Sandeep Singh will represent the Sikh community. On the shoulders of Minister of State for Sports, Sardar Sandeep Singh, the events of Haryana will be held.
400th Prakashotsav will be celebrated by the Central Government in the year 2021 of Shri Guru Tej Bahadur, a great warrior, thinker, poet and teacher.
In the winter session, President Ram Nath Kovind announced in the House, just as the 550th Prakashotsav of the first Guru Nanak Dev ji was celebrated, similarly the 400th Prakashotsav of Guru Tej Bahadur Ji will be celebrated.
