Rashmika Mandanna’sbirthday is going to be extra sweet, and she isn’t complaining about the fact that she will be working all day. On her special day, the overjoyed actor reveals she will be shooting with Amitabh Bachchan.
“It’s going to be a working birthday for me this year. And I’ve already earned my present: the chance to collaborate with Mr Bachchan on my birthday. This is the best birthday present I’ve ever had. So, even though this year will be all about work, I know I’ll have a great time,” says the star, who turns 25 on April 5.
Mandanna, who has primarily worked in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu films, will star alongside Sidharth Malhotra in Mission Majnu and has already signed her second film, Goodbye, which also stars Bachchan.
When asked how she wants to spend her birthdays, the actress says she isn’t a big fan of parties.
“Of course, turning a year older is a cause for celebration. Yet I’ve never been a huge fan of birthdays. “People around me, and friends, have only recently made it really special for me,” Mandanna says, adding, “But of course, this year I have even more reasons to celebrate.” I’m sure they’ll have a party on set to commemorate the occasion, so I’m looking forward to it.
The star, who is best known for Telugu films Geetha Govindam (2018), Dear Comrade (2019), and Tamil film Sulthan, says she has already received her birthday greetings and hopes that her films continue to wow audiences.
“It has already been sent to me. I’m living my fantasy. I’m just grateful that my wish has been granted. What more could I ask for? But I still hope to make viewers satisfied with my films and performances, and to improve on a daily basis,” she muses.
Mandanna is also one of the busiest actors today, with a slew of upcoming films, and she is relishing it. “I am a present-oriented individual. Every day is a new adventure for me. We must work hard now in order to achieve our goal later,” she concludes.
