In a tweet, Pant said, “Very sad about the incident in Uttarakhand. I would like to pay my match fee for relief, rescue and appeal to more people to help,” he said.

Harbhajan Singh tweeted, “People of Uttarakhand should be patient. “The rescue operation is still going on.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakhs for the families of those who lost their lives.

Compensation of Rs 50,000 for those seriously injured in the disaster. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has also announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakhs to the families of all the deceased.
