A panel of Doctors from AIIMS, Delhi has submitted its report to the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) in connection with sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Sources said, the report says that his death was not due to poisoning. The allegations and claims of poisoning were raised on behalf of Sushant’s family and others. The Mumbai police in its report had attributed the suicide to death, which was opposed to the poisoning charges.

Sushant Rajput, 34, was found in his Mumbai apartment on June 14 under suspicious circumstances. The Mumbai police had described it as a suicide case on the basis of autopsy, but a series of allegations and counter-allegations began on social media over the entire issue, the Justice for Sushant campaign. Sushant’s family then made several allegations against Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, which turned into a growing major CBI probe, and the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau also went into the probe into several aspects and allegations.

Sources say the CBI is likely to continue its investigation into allegations of “inciting suicide”. The charges were listed by the Mumbai police in their case. Sources said, the AIIMS panel has also raised the issue of some irregularities on the part of the autopsy Mumbai hospital.

Sushant’s family and some friends had raised questions about how he died. The family had accused Rhea Chakraborty of inflicting mental torture on Sushant, giving them medicines without knowledge, exploiting money and having a role in her death. Only last week, the family’s lawyer Vikas Singh claimed that a doctor on the AIIMS panel had told him that Sushant Singh had been strangled.

“The delay in the CBI decision to turn suicide into a murder of SSR is growing frustrating,” he wrote in a tweet. A doctor in the AIIMS team had long ago stated that 200 per cent of the photos I sent seem to have resulted from strangulation, not suicide,” he said.

Following the claim, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer had sought a new medical board “to protect the investigation from impartial and interference” However, on Monday, the CBI issued a statement saying that the CBI is investigating the case “professionally” where investigations are being conducted in every aspect.
