Teachers Day 2021: We celebrate Teachers’ Day on September 5th. Why is it actually celebrated? The story behind this is…
Teachers Day 2021: If the mother is the first teacher who introduced the baby to the world .. the father is the second teacher who teaches the baby to walk while playing with his heart.
After that the third teacher is the teacher who provides the educational Buddhas, teaching how to walk in this world. That is why the elders are Matrudevo Bhava .. Pitrudevo Bhava .. Acharya Devobhava said.
“Gu” means darkness, “ru” means perishable. That is, Guru Annamata is the one who removes the layers of ignorance in us and illuminates the enlightenment.
The government has declared Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna Jayanthi, the second President, intellectual and educator of our country, to be the Teachers’ Day. That is why the government gives the opportunity to honor teachers on September 5 every year. There is an interesting story behind this.
The story of teachers day 2021 is
Prior to entering politics, Radhakrishna was a professor at various colleges and universities, including Chennai Presidency College and the University of Calcutta. He has also served as the Vice-Chancellor of Andhra Pradesh University, Delhi University and Banaras Hindu University.
He received a proposal from the University of Oxford in 1936 to teach Eastern religions and ethics. Radhakrishnan accepted the offer and taught there for many years.
In addition to teaching, he represented India at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) from 1946 to 1952.
He was also appointed Indian Ambassador to the Soviet Union. He then became the first Vice President of India in 1952. He later became the second President of India in 1962. After taking over as President, students approached Radhakrishnan and requested that he be allowed to celebrate his birthday.
Instead of allowing them to do so, they were asked to observe it as Teachers’ Day. Since then, Teachers’ Day has been celebrated every year on his birthday in honor of all teachers and professors.
Who are the teachers we need to remember ..
The first thing we need to say and remember is Guru Jagadguru Sri Krishna Paramatma. The teacher who taught the Bhagavad Gita to this nation eradicated the ignorance in Arjuna with that Nallanayya, a single Bhagavad Gita. Kurukshetra fought the war. Exterminated. Kuru the old Bhishmacharya himself addressed Lord Krishna as Jagadguru.
Then we have to say Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya. At the age of 32 he taught wisdom to many of his disciples. He established Shakti Peethas all over the country and indirectly became a teacher to those who were thirsty for knowledge. Another Jagadguru was Swami Vivekananda.
Ramakrishna became a disciple of Paramahamsa, acquired knowledge of him, conveyed the messages of the Gurus to the world, and died at an early age. However, to this day, Vivekananda indirectly imparts enlightenment to many as a teacher.
