Kia claims that the battery included in the EV6 electric car can be charged up to 80 percent in just 18 minutes and can cover a distance of 100KM in less than 4.5 seconds of charging. The two wheel drive option of the standard trim of the EV6 uses a 125kW power motor, which can accelerate the car from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.2 seconds. Its four wheel drive option has a 173kW electric motor.

Whereas, the two wheel drive option of the GT trim uses an electric motor of 168kW capacity, which generates 229PS of power. The company claims that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.2 seconds. Even more powerful will be its four wheel drive trim, which will have a motor of 239kW capacity, which will generate 325PS of power. The most powerful will be the GT Line trim, which uses a dual motor of 430kW capacity. It generates torque of 740Nm. The company claims that this trim can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds. The top speed of this trim will be 260 kmph.
