Japanese automobile company Suzuki is preparing to introduce its first electric vehicle in the Indian market soon. If the news is to be believed, then the company will introduce its first electric scooter, which will be the electric version of the company’s current premium and very popular scooter Burgman Street 125. In the past, this electric scooter has been seen on the road many times and now it has been seen being tested on the road one more time. A website has not only given information about the testing of the scooter, but also shared information about some of its power and specifications.

Latest from Gaadiwaadi, an automobile news tracking website Report As per reports, the Burgman electric scooter was recently spotted during testing in Delhi-NCR. A picture has been shared in which the design of the scooter is visible. The upcoming electric scooter looks similar to the current Burgman Street 125 non-electric scooter but there are some changes too. The scooter has been seen in dual-tone color options of White and Blue.

According to the news, Bluetooth connectivity can be found in this scooter as a smart vehicle. Along with this, it could also include modern and essential features like USB charger for charging, LED headlight, LED tail lamp, spacious under-seat storage and digital instrument cluster with alloy wheels. The company may add Suzuki Connect connected-tech feature to it, which will show the rider WhatsApp alerts, SMS and call alert notifications. We are seeing such features in many electric two-wheelers these days.

It has also been speculated that a battery pack of 3kWh to 5kWh capacity can be given in it, on the basis of which this scooter can give a range of 80 to 90 kilometers on a single charge. There is no information on the motor’s capacity, but the top-speed is said to be 80kmph (kmph).

At present, this electric scooter has not been officially announced by Suzuki, so what features will be available in it, it is difficult to say clearly about it at the moment. However, more light is expected to shine on it in the coming time. After its launch, it will compete directly with electric scooters like Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube.
